Free VST Plugins By Dustin Ralston
Dustin Ralston (aka Sleepy-Time Records) has released StereoChannel and MonoChannel, two free gain-staging VST plugins for Windows.
Despite the name, StereoChannel will also work on mono tracks. You can adjust REAPER?s input/output pins if you would like to manually enable mono-mode. StereoChannel and MonoChannel will be replacements for my dBVU plugin.
I still haven?t tested these new freebies and I can?t figure out what exactly the differences between the two are (it seems that both work on mono and stereo tracks). Judging by the screenshots, StereoChannel has m/s functionality and MonoChannel has a neat little 3-band EQ.
